The short version

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't set cookies, we don't profile you, and we don't sell anything about you. This page spells out exactly what that means.

Who we are

This website is operated by HS Software Studio, a business based in the United Kingdom, acting as the data controller for any limited information described below. You can reach us at hasan@hssoftwarestudio.co.uk.

What we collect on this website

Browsing this site does not require you to share any personal information, and we don't use cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers. We do run cookieless analytics (provided by PostHog) to see things like how many people visit, which pages are popular, and which buttons get clicked. This helps us improve the site.

Because the analytics are cookieless, PostHog does not store analytics data in cookies or local/session storage on your device, and there's no persistent identifier that follows you around. To tell visitors apart for a single day's statistics, our analytics provider takes your IP address, combines it with the date and a small amount of general browser and site information, and turns all of that into a one-way hash. Your IP address is used only at the moment this hash is generated and is then discarded — it is not stored, and the hash can't be reversed back into your IP. The identifier rotates daily, so it can't be used to recognise you over time.

If you email us

If you choose to email us at the address above, we'll receive whatever you write and your email address. We use that information only to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. We don't add you to any marketing list.

If you book a call

The "Book a call" buttons open a scheduling page hosted by Cal.com. If you book a call, Cal.com collects the details you enter (such as your name, email, and meeting time) on our behalf and shares them with us so we can meet you. Cal.com's own privacy practices apply to that page — see cal.com/privacy for details. We use the booking details only to prepare for and attend the call you've requested.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Email us and we'll help.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes — for example, if we ever change how our analytics work — we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
